Hi Tim I would think this is just an advanced first winter. There is still a bit of brown in the tertials and the bill pattern is standard 2cy.. I think true 3cy are hard to do unless you get a photo of the black leading edges to the primaries - I always overlook them as adults! Cheers Jono
